The Heart Behind Countryside Canine
Katie Ellsworth brings a lifetime of animal care, hands-on experience, and competitive drive to Countryside Canine — a full-service destination for dog boarding, daycare, grooming, and training. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician and active competitor in AKC Obedience, Rally, Agility, Herding, and Schutzhund sports, Katie has trained and titled multiple personal dogs as well as five others for breeders nationwide.
Before launching Countryside Canine, Katie spent five years shadowing group obedience classes, refining her training philosophy and gaining a deep understanding of canine behavior. Together with her husband, she runs Countryside Canine with the shared goal of providing every dog a safe, engaging, and caring second home.
Katie’s services cover the full spectrum — from puppy training to advanced obedience, private lessons, therapy dog prep and certification through RocDog, grooming, daycare, and boarding. Her mission is to help every owner strengthen the bond with their dog through clear communication, consistency, and trust.
